ParentPal — Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Our Approach to Privacy
ParentPal is built to be private by design. Your family's information stays with you — we do not run servers that collect your data, and we do not sell or share it.
1. Information You Provide You may enter details such as your baby's name, date of birth, photos, feedings, sleep, diapers, growth measurements, vaccines, reminders, and care activities. This information is stored locally on your device.
2. iCloud Sync If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is backed up and synced across your own Apple devices through your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's privacy terms. We have no access to the contents of your iCloud data.
3. What We Do Not Do We do not collect analytics about your usage, we do not use advertising or third-party trackers, and we do not transmit your data to us or to any third party for marketing.
4. Photos and Media Photos you add are stored with your app data on your device (and in your iCloud if sync is on). The app only accesses the photos you explicitly choose through the system photo picker.
5. Children's Privacy ParentPal is intended for use by parents and caregivers. Any information about a child is entered by you and remains under your control. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
6. Your Controls You can disable iCloud Sync at any time in Settings, and you can permanently delete a child profile and all associated logs, photos, vaccines, and reminders from Settings. Deleting the app removes the local data from your device.
7. Data Security Your data is protected by your device's security and, when synced, by your iCloud account protections. Keeping your device passcode and Apple ID secure helps protect your information.
8. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
